September SOTM Cards
I have been poking around with the September Stamp of the Month and I think I like what I came up with. The papers are long retired but when I saw this image these papers came to my mind. As soon as the Hooligan’s papers come in next week I will try and make some with those papers.
I used the Prisma Glitter and Clear Detail Embossing Powder mix again. Both images have the detail but you can really see it on the left. They are just a tiny bit glittery It is amazing what you can do with clear stamps!

See you soon.
Club Anyone?
I have been kicking around the idea of holding a club using the Workshop On The Go Kits that are featured in the catalogs. The workshop will be separate from Crop night in that it will be more like a class and not an open crop night. I am going to a class myself tomorrow so that I can learn how to run a workshop and get a feel for the amount of time needed.
I need some feedback from you guys.... here is what I am thinking.
Now that CTMH has made the Workshop On the Go so easy to follow and so easy for the customer to order I am thinking of starting a monthly "club".
At the beginning of each catalog cycle I will send out an email letting you know what month each WOTG will be used and the Workshop date to match.
See page 24-25 in the Fall / Winter Catalog to see what the workshops and pricing.
Example only:
September "Magnifique"
October "Hooligans"
November "Olivia"
December "Mistletoe"
Here is where you come in: IF you want to do the workshop then you will place an order online for the workshop kit and have it delivered to YOUR house. RSVP me to let me know that you have ordered your supplies and what workshop you would like to attend. If you combine your kit order along with your monthly order then you might get the Stamp of the month for FREE. I love FREE!
The workshop nights will be the Friday nights before Crop nights and will only be a couple of hours.
So are you interested?
I would like to get some feedback by 9-15-10 so that I can start planning and get some dates on the calendar.

Fall / Winter Catalog Is Live
Let the shopping begin….
Cleaning out the closet
Well when I was cleaning out the closet in the scraproom I came across a Crop N Style Paper Taker full of kits. Before I was a CTMH consultant I received kits once a month from Scrap Jammies. This was 5 years ago so I am not even sure if they are still in business because when I do a search I can not find them. Any-hoo I think I will be using these forgotten kits to get some pages done for Kaela’s 7th grade album. Bear with me for a while while I use the last of my non-CTMH products.
Choir
I was poking around in my scrap closet to day and I found some pre-made layout kits that I made at least 2 or 3 years ago. I forgot I had them!
The paper for all 4 layouts are from the Cocoa Collection from CTMH it was a incentive pack that I was really hoping they would offer in the catalog but they never did. Maybe that is why I was hoarding these papers it was a good thing though because I love the retro feel of these papers with these photos.
Simple, Clean and just Right.
Can you believe these are from the same paper pack?
Teen Girl
This layout has a ton of contraband on it but it does have a single piece of CTMH Cotton Candy Cardstock so I can still post it. This is a very “simple” layout but it took FOREVER because at first I thought I could just use Tombow adhesive to hold the ribbon on the page but it kept popping off so I had to go back and sew tiny little stitches to help hold the ribbon in place.
I am not sure this one is finished but since I am not sure what else to do at the moment I am going to let it sit and cure for a little while. But at this moment this layout is complete… maybe.
The “Teen Girl” is a transparency so the photo has some glare on it but you get the idea. BTW I have had this transparency since Kaela was about 7 years old and I have been just itching to use it!
First Dance
This layout is partially taken from the CTMH Design Book “Reflections” page 60. There is some CTMH product on this page but I was able to custom order scrapbook supplies for Ford Middle School complete with logos and colors so I will be mixing the custom supplies with CTMH Supplies for both her middle school album and her High School Album. I have to say that the layout in the book came out better than my layout but I wanted the football ribbon in this layout (darn it) This is also just a single page layout because the only photo I have of the “dance” is this one 5x7 photo.
Magic layout
Do you want a sneak peak of a layout from the new CTMH design book Magic? This layout “Parlor Trick” on page 14. Supplies are as follows:
Topstitch paper pack (X7120B)
Chocolate ink
Vineyard Berry Ink
Doddle Art stamps (D1240)
2 sheets of Desert Sand cardstock
DMC 315 thread (Vineyard Berry color)
I changed the layout just a smidge because I cropped my photos just a hair too small and I have a 5x7 photo that I really wanted to use. But this is what I love about the CTMH Design books, you can see the idea, get inspiration and then just combine your ideas with the book for beautiful layouts every time. The Magic layout also shows you how to hide your journaling but I wanted mine out in the open so that has been changed too.
